SUNY Learning Environments' mission is to identify and deploy technology and media in support of the core academic activities -- teaching, learning, research, communication, and collaboration -- on SUNY's 64 campuses.

LE is a division of the Office of the Provost and Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs of the State University of New York, the nation's largest comprehensive public university.

We are especially keen on developing innovations that will enable inter-campus collaborations across SUNY, expanding the range of SUNY programs, and amplifying the core values of the academic enterprise. In partnership with other SUNY-wide programs (see PARTNERS)  and through the administration of several organizations and initiatives of its own (see PROJECTS), Learning Environments' goal is keep SUNY at the forefront of higher education in the wise and creative use of computing technologies.
