Applying to BEE

Admissions Requirements

Am I ready?

Application Form

Fall 2008 students will be enrolled as non-matriculated students.

Please note that admissions to courses this year does not guarantee that you will be admitted to the full BEE Online Engineering degree program if and when it becomes available.

To apply to individual online engineering courses offered in Fall 2008, please follow these steps:

1

Check the Admissions Requirements. You will have to submit – preferably electronically - a transcript of your courses and/or proof of your degree before you will be allowed to enroll in any courses.

2

Take the self-assessment test: Am I Ready for Learning Engineering Online?

3

Decide which courses you wish to enroll in (see Course Schedule)

a. Check the prerequisites listed under each course description carefully to make sure you’re prepared to succeed.

b. Make sure you have identified from which campus the course is being delivered: Binghamton, Buffalo, or Stony Brook. Note the course and campus on your application

c. We strongly recommend that you take no more than one or two engineering courses online if you are employed.

Please complete the Application Form, and submit accompanying documentation.

Please review Tuition and Fees. In Fall 2008 all students will be enrolled as “non-matriculating students.” This means that you will not yet be enrolled in a degree program and most likely will not qualify for financial aid from Federal or State sources. However, your employer or other lending institutions may be able to help you, so check with them.
