Creating Gradebook Categories
- Click
on the Manage Tab.
- Click
on Gradebook in the Group Management Frame.
- Skip
the Wizard.
- Click
on Categories in the Gradebook Management Section.
- Click
the Add New button.
- Enter
your Category Name in the Title Field.
- Enter
information in the optional Description Field.
- Select
your Calculation Method.
- Use all assignments (this is the default)
- Drop
lowest (Fill in number in grades field)
- Use
highest (Fill in number in grades field)
- Determine
if you are going to use Weight. (Off by default)
- Determine
if you are going to use Auto-Calculate.
- Enter
optional Release Date Information.
- Enter
optional Formula Information.
- Determine
if you want to change default the Category Average Shown setting
(On by default).
- Select
your Average Format (Course Default is the default setting).
- Decide
if you want to use the Extra Credit feature (No is the default).
- Click
the Save button.
