Assessment Based Selective Release
- Create a Password Protected Folder or Learning Activity.
- Create an Assessment that the students need to "pass" in order to
access the password protected information.
- Create an Assignment Gradebook entry for this Assessment.
- Click on the Automate Tab.
- Click on Add New Agent.
- Give your Agent a name in the Name Your Agent field.
- Select the Content Agent Radio Button.
- Click on Select content to monitor.
- Under Lesson Type, select Assessment.
- Select the Specific Assessment Radio Button.
- Select the Assessment you want to use to "trigger" the selective
release.
- Click the Add Button.
- Click the Close Window Button.
- Click on the Drop Down Menu and select graded.
- Enter your "Passing" Grade Range in the fields provided.
- Click the Next Button.
- Click on the User Selection Conditions Drop Down Menu and select
Submissions.
- Click on the List users that drop down menu and select have.
- In the scored at least field type in the minimum passing grade
needed to release the protected content.
- In the next drop down menu select the assessment that will be
used to release the content.
- Click the Next Button.
- Click on the Choose Action Type drop down menu and select Unlock.
- Select Event Organizer in the Unlock content for field.
- Click the Add Button.
- Type in the password for the protected content.
- Click the Next Button.
- Click the Save Button
