Adding a Discussion Forum

This tutorial briefly looks at the differences between ANGEL 7.1 and ANGEL 7.3 when adding a discussion forum; and demonstrates the new, streamlined way to add a discussion forum in ANGEL 7.3. The important differences covered in this tutorial are as follows:

What Angel 7.3 does not have:

• ANGEL 7.3 has no Discussion Forum Wizard
• ANGEL 7.3 does not have 3 ways to add a discussion forum
• ANGEL 7.3 does not have the Fishbowl, Hot Seat or Required Post
• ANGEL 7.3 does not begin at Create an Item to add a discussion forum
• ANGEL 7.3 does not have Content tab settings

What Angel 7.3 does have:

• ANGEL 7.3 has only 1 streamlined way to add a discussion forum
• ANGEL 7.3 begins at Add Content to add a discussion forum
• ANGEL 7.3 has moved Content tab settings to the Interaction tab
